BurlingtonGreen is pleased to host another engaging and informative webinar with Bob Bell, this time highlighting the wonderful world of Backyard Birding.

The event will take place on Wed, Jan 31st from 7pm – 8: 15pm via Zoom. (register at the button below)

In this webinar, Bob will be sharing some of his experiences and tips that will help you take your backyard birding to the next level.

Bob has worked to attract a wide variety of birds to his backyard (in Ancaster) and he has heard from many folks, including his fellow birders, that they are amazed at the different species that often visit him.

Are you interested but not able to attend? No problem, this event will be recorded. A link to the video recording will be sent to all registrants following the event.

More about Bob:

Bob was a mineral exploration geologist who had to retire in 2015 after having contracted Lyme disease. He subsequently discovered the healing power of birds and birding, and wrote a book about it, titled “Out of the Lyme Light and into the Sunlight: Birding as Therapy for the Chronically Ill.”

Bob’s book can be bought locally at Wild Birds Unlimited and A Different Drummer Books in Burlington, and at King W. Books in Hamilton. It is also available at all of the Urban Nature stores spread across the GTA, as well as online from Amazon, Indigo, or directly from the publisher.

In retirement Bob has become an avid birder and passionate about sharing his joy of birds, having previously given four talks for BurlingtonGreen, which are available on YouTube:
