Providing an online donation is fast and secure through our partner Canada Helps. You can pay with credit card, Paypal or CanadaHelps gift cards. A charitable donation receipt is delivered instantly to your email inbox. Enter company name for donation receipt to be issued to a company. You can also donate in honour or memory of someone.
Donate by mail, phone or in person if you prefer not to donate using our secure and fast online form or if you are making a larger donation and want to help us avoid transaction fees. Simply complete our offline donation form and you can make your donation through one of these methods:

Take care of your family first, then be sure to leave a legacy for a greener future by setting up a gift through your will, life insurance, appreciated securities, or other assets. Ask your human resources or corporate donations department if your company matches gifts, and how you can have your gifts to BG matched by your employer.

Carbon Offsets can be really complicated and they’re not all created equal.

BurlingtonGreen can accept donations of appreciated securities and mutual funds, which is a tax-smart way to give, avoiding capital gains taxes and you get a donation receipt for the full value of your gift.

Financial contributions provide us with the greatest flexibility and opportunity to fulfill our programming needs but we also have supply needs that help us deliver our important work. Monthly Giving provides sustainable support to our programs. You can set up a monthly gift from your company on our online donation form. Just decide the amount and continue as long as you like. Your monthly support sparks a year of power for change!

Consider honouring a retiring colleague with a corporate donation, possibly coupled with an opportunity for co workers to also donate in their honour. Personalized donation campaigns can be created using our online campaign platform through CanadaHelps or we can develop a customized donation form. Organize a fundraiser to support BGs work in the community. This could be associated with an employee engagement activity, such as a litter clean up day, lunch and learn, bake sale, dress-down day, Earth Day, employee volunteer day removing invasive plant species with BG, tag sale, party, talent show, special event or other celebrations. Promote a product or service with a portion of sales donated to help raise environmental awareness, action and advocacy in Burlington. Or partner with BG on an awareness and action campaign to activate a key audience in Burlington. Your promotion will provide unrestricted support toward the greatest need at BG, but it may also be possible to benefit a specific BG program such as Children, Youth, or Advocacy. We would love to hear your ideas.
Many companies encourage employee volunteerism by providing corporate donations to charities where their employees volunteer. You can include BurlingtonGreen as a volunteer opportunity that you promote with your team. Here is a sample description you can share with your employees:
BurlingtonGreen offers a wide range of rewarding and fun volunteer opportunities for families (all ages) and community members 14 years of age or older: tree planting and care; litter clean ups; ambassadors for BG at outreach booths and events; waste sorting at community events; habitat restoration and invasive plant species removal, and more.
