Voting is NOW CLOSED for the 2025 Burlington Tree Photo contest.

The photo receiving the most community votes was PHOTO # 3!

The winner will receive a $50 gift card to Connon Nurseries.

A big thank you to everyone who kindly submitted a photo this year, and to everyone who took the time to vote.

We can all look forward to next year’s Burlington Tree Photo contest, while continuing to enjoy all these beautiful photos.

PHOTO 2 – “I’d like to submit this glorious Maple located in the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery taken on September 24, 2025. The blazing glow shines bright upon the surroundings. A beautiful reminder of all life must transition, and come to an end to return to the earth.”
PHOTO 3 RECEIVED THE MOST VOTES! -“Very beautiful tree, in full sight but perhaps not much appreciated! Location: Brant Street and Amherst Heights.”
PHOTO 4 – “I bike around my beautiful area, which thankfully has a lot of great greenery. One of my favourite trees is the majestic Red Pine & this beauty is at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. I always stop in front of it & appreciate its magnificence.”
PHOTO 5 – “This photo was taken at LaSalle Park in Burlington. I really like the striking and fiery fall colours of the tree leaves on the backdrop of a bright blue sky and green grass.”
PHOTO 6 – ” I knew this tree was going to be my submission when I spotted it in Glen Afton park. The sun was setting, and although in itself this tree isn’t particularly interesting, it caught the sunlight so beautifully I couldn’t keep my eyes off of it. I had some fun imagining that the smaller tree underneath was its child, just completely shrouded in the sunlight.”
