Why Garden with Native Plants?

Native plants are adapted to thrive in our local environment and climate. They are beautiful, low-maintenance compared to annual and perennial gardens, requiring little or no watering once established. They provide food and shelter for butterflies, bees, and other insects, and they help to reduce the risk of flooding and erosion.
