Let’s Grow Burlington’s Tree Canopy Together!

Open to Burlington residents, students, groups, business employees, while space remains, this tree-ific event is part of our dual-component Community Clean Up Green Up event.

Hosted by BurlingtonGreen and the City of Burlington Forestry Department, the Green Up event provides an important (and fun) opportunity for the community to come together to plant trees to beautify the city while strengthening local biodiversity and helping to address climate change here at home.

The April 20th Green Up Tree Planting event requires advance registration (NOW FULL) and will take place at Pathfinder Park, rain or shine from 9:30 am. to approximately 11:30 am.

Please note that to allow for as many community members as possible to participate, a total of 5 groups are permitted to register with a maximum of 15 people per group.  

Agreeing to our Volunteer Participant Activity Informed Consent Waiver is a REQUIREMENT to register and participate at this event.

After you have completed and submitted the registration form you will receive a confirmation email in your inbox with detailed event information and safety tips. Participants are asked to bring their own shovels and gardening gloves.
