Born in Pakistan, Shoaib spent the first 28 years of his life living and working there, gaining early professional and international experience across multiple regions before immigrating to Canada.

A longtime resident of Halton Region, Shoaib initially lived in Mississauga and has called Milton home for the past 15 years, where he lives with his wife and three children. His global background and deep local roots shape his perspective on responsible growth, strong communities, and stewardship of shared resources.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Shoaib brings over two decades of experience in finance, governance, and risk management across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. He has held senior leadership roles with global professional services firms and Canadian organizations, supporting sound decision-making and sustainable outcomes.

Outside of his professional work, Shoaib is an avid gardener and nature enthusiast. He is passionate about contributing his skills to organizations that promote environmental sustainability, community resilience, and a healthier future for generations to come.
