Join Grow Native Halton for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of winter seed sowing—a simple technique that uses the natural freeze-and-thaw cycles of winter to help native seeds germinate in spring. You’ll create your own winter sowing container, learn which native species are best suited for this method, and gain the confidence to grow dozens of plants at home.

We’ll also cover responsible native seed collection, demonstrate tools such as organza bags for collecting seeds, and share practical tips to help you achieve great results.
