The Kelso Ascension Challenge is Conservation Halton’s new endurance trail running event on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Set on the scenic escarpment trails at Kelso Conservation Area, the course features steep climbs, fast descents and varied terrain. The timed-loop format offers a challenge for runners of all experience levels, from first-time trail participants to seasoned endurance athletes.

Choose from the following race options:

• 1-hour individual timed 2 km loop
• 2-hour, 4-hour and 6-hour individual timed 5 km loops
• 6-hour four-person relay
• Children’s vertical race (ages 6–10)
