Join Reconnect Burlington and BurlingtonGreen on Saturday, November 7th from 11:30am–2:30pm at St. Christopher’s Church for a fun, family-friendly way to swap, connect and keep clothing and toys in circulation!
Bring your clean, gently used clothing, shoes, hats, accessories and toys to exchange for new-to-you treasures. With the holidays approaching, we’re especially excited to include toys this year. Swapping gives families an opportunity to re-home toys that are still in good condition, while also finding some thoughtful gifts to add to their holiday celebrations.
By sharing what we already have, we can support a more circular economy, keep useful items in circulation and reduce the demand for new products that require valuable resources to produce.

Bring your items to contribute to the swap, then enjoy refreshments and interactive, family-friendly activities while you wait.
12:30–12:45pm | Welcome & Swap Instructions
We’ll share some brief information about the impact of clothing and waste, along with instructions for how the swap will work.
12:45pm | The Swap Begins!
Everyone will have access to the swap items at the same time.
Our BurlingtonGreen outreach booth will also be on-site, giving you an opportunity to learn about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and environmental issues affecting our community.
What to Bring
Please bring clean, gently used items in good working condition that you would feel comfortable gifting to a friend. Clothing items can include shoes, hats and accessories, as well as clothing.
Since this is a Fall Clothing Swap, we encourage you to focus on fall and winter items. Any clothing remaining after the event will be donated to the Compassion Society and St. Christopher’s Open Doors, where seasonal clothing is especially helpful at this time of year.
For the toy swap, please bring toys that are clean, complete and in good working condition.
Taking Items Home
Clothing: There is no limit to how many clothing items you can take home. We simply ask that you choose items you will genuinely enjoy using.
Toys: To help make sure there are enough toys to go around, we ask folks to take a maximum of 5 toys per family.
Free to attend! Come for the swap, stay for the community.
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
