Everyday Choices for a Greener Future

Everyday Choices for a Greener Future

Our interactive Everyday Choices for a Greener Future workshop helps participants rethink everyday choices and discover practical ways to prevent waste and keep materials in use.

Through engaging games, hands-on activities, and real-life examples, participants explore actions like refusing, repairing, borrowing, etc. The workshop wraps up with an eco-pledge, giving participants the opportunity to choose an action they can put into practice at home, at work, or in their community.

For Children/Youth: An energetic, hands-on experience featuring an inflatable Earth ball game, the “What Happens Before the Bin?” activity, and a creative button-making activity where each child creates an eco-pledge to take home.

For Adults: A practical and engaging session featuring interactive waste-prevention examples, an introduction to Ontario’s new Blue Box program and producer responsibility, and an opportunity to choose a personal sustainability commitment.

Speaker presentation followed by interactive Share your Eco Actions activity.
