Jacklyn serves as the Community Organizer where she focuses on empowering Burlington residents and youth to organize and take action on climate change and other pressing environmental issues.
Jacklyn used to watch Animal Planet as a child, when one particular program by the World Wildlife Fund about tiger poaching troubled her. From then on, she became focused on learning all she could about animals and how humans are impacting their habitats.
Her passion for protecting nature led her to complete a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where she gained a deeper understanding of ecology and how climate change is affecting our natural systems. Endlessly curious, she strives to be a lifelong learner on how to protect our shared planet. Not only does she love to learn, but she is driven to take action.
