Strengthen the Canadian Environmental Protection Act

In 2017, the House of Commons environment committee reviewed CEPA and made 87 recommendations for strengthening the act, including amendments to recognize the human right to a healthy environment and the need to protect vulnerable populations and better control toxic substances.

A lot has changed in the past two decades, but CEPA is stuck in the past. In the era of climate emergency and increasing toxic threats and now COVID-19, we need strong environmental laws. Tell Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson to fix CEPA.
