Stop the 413 Highway

A new, costly highway that would pave over important farmland, forests, rivers, and a section of the Greenbelt in the GTHA affects all of us and our shared environment. Learn about this issue here.  Contact your Regional Councillor and Mayor to ask that they oppose the GTA West project and honour their committment to protect and preserve the natural environment, and that they honour the Climate Emergency they declared across Halton.

Would you like a STOP the 413 lawn sign to help display your support for this important issue? Let us know here.

Environmental groups have asked the federal government to conduct an environmental assessment (EA) for the Highway 413 project. You can follow the Stop the 413 Facebook page for more updates and watch this panel discussion on the Agenda with Steve Paikin.

You can also show your support by signing the petition.
