Local food focused farmer’s market in Downtown Burlington run by volunteers. Produce, baked goods, coffee, tea, prepared foods, wine, cider, meat. May to October. The market also hosts chefs, mobile kitchens and children’s workshops through the season to further generate interest and excitement around local food. These participants are carefully chosen for their shared interests and philosophies on building community and supporting local food production.

In Burlington, our work with the community takes place within the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and
we recognize this land as being home and the traditional territory to Indigenous people since time
immemorial.

We honour all past and present First Nation, Métis and Inuit people, and we recognize their leadership in protecting and caring for Mother Earth. We join them in honouring and respecting the land, waters, plants, animals, four directions, and all of the wonderful elements of creation that exist.
