BurlingtonGreen is branching out! The planet needs our help and so we are welcoming more volunteers than ever before to grow our team and our IMPACT!  

Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give, we can find a role that meets your interests and abilities. We offer a wide range of rewarding and fun volunteer opportunities to help create a cleaner, greener, more environmentally responsible Burlington.

Following our AGM (Annual General Meeting) on March 28th, we will be hosting a 'Make a World of Difference' volunteer information event where you can learn all about our great organization and ways for YOU to get involved.

When?   Wednesday, March 28th (AGM: 6:30-7:00pm VOLUNTEER INFO EVENT: 7:00-9:00pm)

Where?   BurlingtonGreen's NEW HOME! The Crossroads Centre- Bistro Room (1295 North Service Road)

What?   Join us for a casual gathering to learn about BG (Burlington's 'GO TO' environmental organization) and chat with some of our enthusiastic volunteers to discover opportunities for YOU to get involved. We will be offering complimentary snacks and drinks (please bring your own mug).

Bonus! The first 25 people to RSVP and bring a friend will receive a terrific eco-gift!

The BurlingtonGreen Environmental Association Board of Directors gives notice that BurlingtonGreen’s 2018 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

The AGM is where you can learn more about what BurlingtonGreen has been up to for the past year, meet our Board and Leadership Team and tell us what matters to you.

The 2018 AGM will be held as follows:

When: Wednesday March 28, 2018, 6:30pm – 7:00pm
Where Crossroads Centre, 1295 North Service Rd., Burlington

All Members of the Association and the public are invited to attend the 2018 Annual General Meeting. If you have any questions, email us here.

The AGM meeting is held for the following purposes:

To receive and approve the Minutes of the March 22, 2017 Annual General Meeting.
To receive and consider the President’s Report to the Members.
To receive and consider the financial statements of the Association for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2017.
To elect the Board Directors.
To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting, or any adjournment thereof.

 - Change to Letters Patent re: Proposed changes to the Corporation’s objects and proposed application to the Canada Revenue Agency for charitable status

Election of Directors

The responsibility to select candidates best suited to lead the Association requires thoughtful planning and attention to skills / areas of expertise currently required by the Board for the organization’s strategic plan and future growth. Therefore, BurlingtonGreen adheres to the practice of not accepting nominations from the floor at the Annual General Meeting.
