Exciting news! The City of Burlington will be hosting 6 community tree planting events across the city this spring in honour of Canada's 150th birthday, and they're inviting BurlingtonGreen and our great volunteers, and all residents of Burlington, to help out.
The plantings – one in each ward of the city – will run on Saturdays between April 22nd and June 3rd (excluding the May long weekend). These are great opportunities for you to get involved in a local stewardship project and make a difference helping to grow our urban tree canopy.
No registration is required. Everyone is welcome. Just show up, ready to plant. BurlingtonGreen aims to be present at several of the events, assisting and hosting our information table.
