2017

  • March 12, 2017: BurlingtonGreen Volunteer/Member Jane Jenner's letter to the Hamilton Spectator regarding a proposal to cut annual U.S. federal funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative from $300 million to $10 million. Letter here.
  • March 6, 2017: BurlingtonGreen's letter to City Council & Staff on the need to secure solid green space preservation policies in the City's new Official Plan, to ensure is in line with the overall 25-year Strategic Plan vision of a greener city. Letter here.

2016

  • Oct. 18, 2016: BG participated in a 'Blue Dot / EBR Review' rally at Queen's Park, along several other local groups, plus the Blue Dot organization, David Suzuki Foundation and Ecojustice, and Dr. David Suzuki.
