Our current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burlingtongreen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/bg_2024_29_strategic_plan_min.pdf\">plan strat\u00e9gique<\/a> guides our journey with a strong focus on collective impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The time commitment is approximately 8-15 hours monthly, including Board meetings and committee work. Directors serve for a one-year renewable term, with a commitment to an initial 3-year contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll benefit from professional leadership development, cross-industry networking, and comprehensive governance experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En tant que membre du conseil d&#039;administration de BG, vous participerez aux activit\u00e9s suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Steer BG to help the community meet the critical challenges and opportunities of the climate and ecological crisis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute through your unique voice, professional and lived experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aider \u00e0 guider le plan strat\u00e9gique \u00e0 long terme, le budget annuel et les objectifs de performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surveiller les performances financi\u00e8res et de collecte de fonds, les progr\u00e8s par rapport aux buts\/objectifs et le respect des politiques, y compris la surveillance et l&#039;examen annuel du directeur ex\u00e9cutif.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Les membres du conseil sont cens\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assister aux r\u00e9unions mensuelles du conseil et participer aux activit\u00e9s r\u00e9guli\u00e8res du conseil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborer aux d\u00e9cisions visant \u00e0 renforcer l&#039;impact collectif et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re et \u00e0 faire avancer la mission de BG.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aider \u00e0 maintenir des processus de groupe constructifs et l\u2019excellence en mati\u00e8re de gouvernance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertake additional special responsibilities, including serving on one Board committee and participating in BG events and activities, including networking and fundraising<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BurlingtonGreen is committed to creating a workforce and governing board that reflects the diversity of the populations we serve. Studies show that members of underrepresented communities do not apply for postings unless they are 100% \u201cqualified\u201d (Harvard Business Review post, 2014).
