We’ll look for migratory & resident birds, frogs 🐸, beavers 🦫 , late summer pollinators🐝 aquatic invertebrates, and more! What are they doing to get ready for the winter? What adaptations do they have to overwinter here or to migrate? What can we do to help wildlife in our wetlands survive and thrive?

We’re bringing dip nets and sweep nets for participants looking for an interactive learning experience! Optional: waterproof boots for those looking to walk into the shallow area of the pond.
