Our friendly Event Greening Ambassadors will be at the City of Burlington’s Food For Feedback event for the afternoon of Saturday, September 16th helping event attendees learn about recycling while ensuring event waste gets properly diverted from the landfill. Be sure to visit our booth where we will be sharing information about our many fall events, giving out FREE pollinator seed packets(while quantities last), and you can enter your chance to win a great eco-prize pack by sharing your input via our Future Focus survey!

Visit us at the BG Eco-Hub by the beach (1094 Lakeshore Road) between 10am to 4pm this weekend to learn more about how you can get involved by attending one or more of our many opportunities available this fall.

Sign up to participate in the city-wide Community Clean Up this fall, and pick up FREE clean up supplies ( bags and gloves) at the Hub.

Be sure to enter your chance to win one of two bikes (including an E-bike!), by purchasing your raffle ticket(s) while visiting us at the Eco-Hub. The lucky winning tickets will be drawn on October 9th.

And on Saturday, September 16th from noon to 4pm, also at the BG Eco-Hub, we invite you to create your own climate action button and/or bring along your own piece of cardboard to make a sign to take with you to a climate action rally ( see below). We will also have a limited supply of FREE Hands off the Greenbelt and Stop 413 Hwy signs available for pick up ( first come-first to receive).

On September 15 to 17, millions of people around the world will take to the streets to demand a rapid, just, and equitable end to fossil fuels.
