Are you interested in going on a hike and learning more about our local ecosystems? Join the BurlingtonGreen Youth Network and Elliott Groen for an educational workshop and guided nature walk at Burlington’s Beachway Park.
This workshop will spotlight the unique features of Halton’s only dune ecosystem, stretching 7km long and home to 236 species of plants and 3 species at risk. Learn more about local tree identification and how to identify and respectfully harvest seeds. Relax, discover, and join us for a walk along the beach!
Email us if you are interested in attending. This event can be eligible for volunteer hours. Ask us how!
