Tiffany was born in Saskatchewan and can still remember the summer she was 10 and was introduced to the green lushness of Ontario.
Having lived in the Hamilton/Burlington area for the past 30 years, she has been to many of our beautiful parks, trails and waterfronts and watched them grow, change and in some cases, shrink.
Tiffany’s background is varied and has worked in fundraising and project management, and most recently in the regulatory sector of the agriculture industry. She holds a BA from McMaster University as well as certificates in Public Relations and Business Analysis.
Tiffany is keen about figuring out how environmental choices can be balanced with the real life of being a working mom, and how each of us can make a meaningful contribution.
Acknowledging – Honouring – Acting
In Burlington, our work with the community takes place within the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and
we recognize this land as being home and the traditional territory to Indigenous people since time
immemorial.
We honour all past and present First Nation, Métis and Inuit people, and we recognize their leadership in protecting and caring for Mother Earth. We join them in honouring and respecting the land, waters, plants, animals, four directions, and all of the wonderful elements of creation that exist.
BurlingtonGreen has much to learn from Indigenous People and we encourage everyone to continually learn from and about the Indigenous community where you live, and how we can each meaningfully honour the calls to action for Truth and Reconciliation.
