Sharon is passionate about balancing green space with population growth and ensuring parks, trails, and the waterfront are clean and available for residents to enjoy both now and for future generations to come. She was born in England but has been a resident of Burlington for most of her life. 

Sharon brings her experience as a strategic community relations leader delivering results that have a positive, sustainable impact in the community to BurlingtonGreen. Having recently retired, she is looking forward to having the opportunity to volunteer and give back to her community.

Sharon volunteered for the role of campaign chair for a local non-profit, successfully raising awareness and leading the team to surpass their fundraising goal. She currently supports BurlingtonGreen’s Development & Fundraising Committee to help raise awareness and funds so it can continue to advance its important mission work of protecting nature, mitigating climate change and creating a healthier, cleaner, greener Burlington.

Sharon is happy spending her days exploring new hiking trails, she loves spending time with her family, practicing yoga and relaxing with a cup of tea while reading in her garden.
