Need Volunteer Hours?

Look no further. When thinking about the purpose of the Youth Network, one of my main goals was to help bridge the gap between the organizations looking for volunteers, and the tons of students I know and work with that would be willing to volunteer. We want to Help You Help the Planet! If there is any volunteer opportunity with an environmental theme I make it my business to know about it so I can let our BG and BGYN members know about it!
Join the BGYN! We have always tried to make sure that our Eco-Youth Network is as inclusive and open to Youth from throughout Burlington, whether your in an environment club or not. Alot of our members are from high school eco-clubs however we find that a lot of our volunteer base don't belong to their school's eco-club.
Even though it isn't required to participate in any of our volunteer events we are hoping that all members will become a supporting "official" member of BurlingtonGreen (student rate) and help us continue to do the work we are doing. You can either pay on-line by clicking here or bring $5 any BG event :)
We do our best .....
to serve as a one-stop-shop for eco-volunteer opportunities in Burlington and we include everything from native species plantings and invasive plant species removals to waste diversion at some of Burlington's popular community events. Stay updated on volunteer opportunities through our Facebook Page, Twitter Page and Events Calendar, by joining our mailing list and through our Helping Habitat webpage here.
