Here's how it works...

2. Post the eco-challenge somewhere handy so you can check off the tasks as you complete them( fridge, bulletin board etc)
3. Begin the challenge. Have fun. Be careful and ALWAYS check with an adult before doing the listed tasks.
4. Once you have completed all 10 of the challenges (it will take you 2 weeks or more), YAHOO! - come back to this web page with an adult and complete the contact form here to confirm you completed all eco -tasks! Note: only an adult (18 years or older) can enter his/her email address when completing the contact form. Make sure you state "I completed the Bee Green Challenge" in the message comment box.
5. By completing the contact form, you will be entered into a draw for a BurlingtonGreen ECO-PRIZE PACK! (there will be four draws during the year)
Bonus challenge: draw a picture of your favourite place in nature and /or write a poem or story about why doing your part to protect the environment is important. You may get your picture or story or poem published on the Bg website or in our newsletter!

Summer Fun in the Sand!
Thanks to all who participated in the Discover Sandcastles Event held on the beachfront on August 15. The importance of water conservation and recycling was shared via a variety of fun eco-games! LOTS of pledges to protect the environment were made with creative button making. Opportunities to continue the committment to help the environment back at home were offered by BurlingtonGreen's new eco-challenge!
A big thanks to our dedicated volunteers for their time and energy offered on this very hot day!
Have some good green fun! Check out the following websites for some fun games and activities with an eco-focus. Hey, which website is your favourite? Let us know in the poll over to the right. Do you have a favourite eco site not listed here? We would love to learn about it so pass it on here.
