Who is BurlingtonGreen?

Based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, BurlingtonGreen is a non-profit, non-partisan, environmental organization. Through AWARENESS raising, ADVOCACY and ACTION, we aim to mobilize individuals, groups, business and governments to make Burlington a leader in creating a healthy, environmentally responsible city.

Many people are becoming increasingly concerned about unrestrained urban sprawl, declining air and water quality, traffic gridlock and the shrinking habitat for the plants and animals with whom we share this planet. We are experiencing the effects of climate change and rising energy costs.As big as these problems are, we can and need to tackle them at the local level.

We offer a variety of programs, events and services to support our mandate to work with all sectors to create a healthier, more environmentally responsible City.
