Go Green Challenge - Group

Hi Teachers & Group Leaders! BurlingtonGreen wants to help you and your group of kids take action to save the planet! The Earth needs your help because many of the things we are doing in our everyday lives like driving cars, heating our homes, eating meat and throwing things in the trash release lots of green house gases into the atmosphere. These gases are making the Earth very warm and that is bad news for everything on the planet including the weather, people, animals, plants, forests and oceans.

The good news is that you can make a huge difference! Start by taking our fun Go Green Challenge to see how many eco-action points your group can earn by making pledges for the planet. Each action helps to lower the amount of green house gases your group adds to the environment. All you need to do is:

  • Print a copy of the challenge by clicking here. (remember to use recycled paper in your printer and print on both sides too!)
  • Review the challenges with your group and record how many kids are already doing the eco-actions now and how many will pledge to try the eco-actions from now on. Remind the kids to BEE honest about the actions they are already doing and to only pledge if they really plan to begin an action.
  • Enter the results for each challenge into the form below and click the GO button to see your total GHG score and find out how "green" your group is!

Get ready, have fun, complete the challenge and GO GREEN!
