Michael has been a lifelong resident of Burlington with a dedicated passion for protecting the environment. He has a Earth Science Degree from Laurentian University and a post grad diploma in Environmental Management from Niagara College. He was able to learn about sustainable industrial practices and waste diversion. He is working on a Masters Degree at the University of Waterloo in Environment and Business to gain expertise on methods of integrating environment with business in very practical ways. His career has focused on environmental monitoring systems for water quality and groundwater. He is also a member of Burlington’s Save our Waterfront Committee. His interest include visiting exciting ecosystems around the world, playing bagpipes and sailing. |
