With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Amy went on to teach outdoor & environmental education for five years followed by serving as Park Manager for Crawford Lake Conservation Area on the Niagara Escarpment for 15 years. Amy served as the Chair of the local Save General Brock Parklands Committee for 4 years which successfully secured the urban greenspace for the people of Burlington now and in the future to enjoy.
A founding member of BurlingtonGreen, Amy oversees all management, program operations and development for BurlingtonGreen as the agency's Executive Director. A life-long resident of Burlington, she and her husband and three children enjoy wilderness camping and travel, are passionate about protecting the environment and strive to lessen their impact on the planet with their daily habits.
