***THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO THURSDAY EVENING. The weather was worse than expected this morning, and no guarantees the rain will stay light this afternoon.***
Join BurlingtonGreen's Biodiversity Committee and Youth Network as we remove invasive Burdock plants from the LaSalle Park Environmentally Sensitive Area.
We will meet at the trailhead at LaSalle Park Marina, located at the south end of LaSalle Park Road. We'll work from 1pm - 4pm, rain or shine (we'll call it off if we get thunder and lightning!)
Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring your own re-usable beverage container, and remember to apply your sunscreen and insect repellent! We will provide refreshments, gloves, bags, and tools (feel free to bring trowels, spades or clippers if you want to!).
