Experience the wonder of nature by moonlight on a Guided Snowshoe Hike at Crawford Lake Conservation Area.

Each hike begins with basic instruction and some historical background on the sport of snowshoeing by our staff. Next you will strap on a pair of snowshoes, and take a guided trek through the Crawford Lake woodlands. Your guide will point out some of the natural features of the area, and motivate you along the way. At the end of the evening relax by a fire with a steaming hot chocolate.

This is one of a series of Moonlight Snowshoe hikes which take place on January 8, 15, 22, 29, and February 5 and 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost for the program is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (ages 65 and over) and children (ages 8 to 15) plus the HST. This program does require pre-registration and you are encouraged to reserve your spot early for these special evenings.

Please Note: in the event there is not enough snow to snowshoe, a guided evening hike, along with a fire and hot chocolate will be substituted. No refunds will be given for lack of snow.
