With City wide interest in the 2010 election stronger than ever before, BurlingtonGreen together with TV Cogeco is pleased to host this FREE important event to support citizen engagement.
When? Tuesday, September 28 at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00 pm)
Where? Mainway Recreational Centre - 4010 Mainway
The event will not be environment focused but instead open for awareness and participation on a multitude of topics that are important to the people of Burlington.
You will have the opportunity to:
Meet the Councillor Candidates: this is YOUR opportunity to ask YOUR questions directly to YOUR ward candidates.
Meet the Mayor Candidates: submit your question to the Mayor and Regional candidates (if there is more than one Regional Chair candidate) and hear THEIR vision for Burlington for the next four years.
Meet the School Trustee Candidates: meet some of the Trustee candidates who will be deciding our school board priorities, budgets and more.
Event venue capacity is limited so attendance is on a first to arrive basis.
Please help us to host a GREEN event. Bring your own refreshments in a reusable canteen and try to carpool, walk, bike or take public transit if you can.
