Throughout 2010 BurlingtonGreen has been looking for ways to celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity & have already hosted 5 restoration events!
Working with the Royal Botanical Gardens we will be helping to restore Princess Point to a tallgrass prairie by planting native species.
This event will take place on July 27th,we'll be meeting at the main RBG building from 9:30am-12:00pm however anyone willing to stay later is ...welcome!
Help increase our local biodiversity by planting prairie grasses and wildflowers such as indian grass, little bluestem, big bluestem, wild bergamot, butterfly
weed, Canada tick-trefoil and more!

BurlingtonGreen will be supplying refreshments & the RBG will be supplying equipment although if you have a hand trowel and/or gardening gloves it is appreciated if you bring them.
