Join the Bay Area Restoration Council, The Royal Botanical Gardens and BurlingtonGreen to help improve the water quality of Cootes Paradise by planting Cattails and shrubs in the marsh!
There are 5 dates for plantings this summer and if they all fill up Bay Area Restoration Council and BurlingtonGreen will try to plan more!
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old (14 with adult supervision)
Although there will be 18 year olds to supervise we can't have more than a few volunteers under the age of 18
Dates: Saturday July 18th Tuesday July 21st Thursday July 23rd Saturday July 25th All plantings are Saturday August 8th from 9:30am-noon
Many of the planting sites will be accessed by boat!!
Please bring rubber boots and gloves if you have them. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.
