On November 30, 2011, BurlingtonGreen celebrated it's 4th "birthday" by hosting our Annual General Meeting with a focus on renewable energy and community power. Keynote Mayor Rick Goldring provided the audience with an update on the City's Community Energy Strategic Plan initiative and representatives from event sponsor:  Hamilton Halton Energy Awareness Team (H.H. E. A. T.) provided an engaging presentation about the H.H.E.A.T. initiative and how the citizens of Burlington can participate in a renewable energy co-operative locally.
