Awareness

To “grow” a more environmentally aware and responsible city, efforts need to include participation and action from as many different sectors of the community as possible. That is why BurlingtonGreen strives to raise awareness of environmental issues and the promotion of greening initiatives with individuals, community groups, businesses and governments.

You will find our "BG booth" at a variety of events and presentations throughout Burlington and Halton during the year. Visit the Calendar of Events for an ongoing update of environment related opportunities that you can attend, listen, learn and participate in.

BurlingtonGreen is also pleased to host special events throughout the year free of charge in an effort to raise issue awareness, hear what you have to say and encourage opportunity for you to take action!
