About Us

 

Based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, BurlingtonGreen is a non-profit, non-partisan, environmental organization. Through AWARENESS raising, ADVOCACY and ACTION, we aim to mobilize individuals, groups, business and governments to make Burlington a leader in creating a healthy, environmentally responsible city.

 

Our primary team consists of a Board of Directors, Executive Director, Youth Program Co-ordinator and Go Local Food Network Coordinator.

The participation and contribution of our indvidual volunteers and  volunteer project teams is vital to the strength & sustainability of our outreach and action programs. Since our not-for-profit agency's establishment in November, 2007 we have received various recognitions for our efforts to help the planet locally (see further below).
